Five wonderful and challenging international ministry trips lie ahead in the next five months (Myanmar, Panama, Philippines, Pakistan & Thailand), but first, some Praise and Prayer:

India

The Culture, Ethnicity & Diversity course introduced in Dehradun went very well with a high-caliber diverse class. Safe travels (during the monsoon season), good health, & a wonderfully interactive cohort were answers to prayer. An extra benefit was getting to see DAI co-workers Jaya Biju, Sam & Shashi Thomas and Jonny & Sharon Abraham.

Haiti

The short May trip has resulted in an official DAI Ministry Center being launched in Haiti with a Haitian training ministry called FOCA. Pastor Enel Angervil (the Haiti Ministry Center Director) will join us at our staff meetings in Manila in November.

Fellowship of the Suffering

Dave Ripper and I are both very encouraged by the people who have told us that this book has been an encouragement to them through their various hardships. (Donors: we hope that you have received your ‘thank-you’ copy). If you find the book helpful, please consider writing a review for Amazon, Christian Book, or GoodReads.
